"Vision 25"
VISION 25 is the name of the Aspire Strategic Development Plan which is designed to shape the direction of the trust through to 2025, and beyond. Its key objective is delivering equity and excellence in all that we do and in order to achieve this, we have FIVE strategic priorities, that are each linked to one (or more) of the Aspire values:
PRIORITY 1 : PEOPLE
What are we focusing on?
- Strengthening our staff wellbeing offer so it sits at the heart of everything we do and is clear and transparent for all
- Developing our training offer for support staff so it is accessible and relevant for all
- Enhancing our professional training and mentoring provision for teacher trainees and new teachers
- Ensuring the principles of equality, diversity and inclusion are understood, valued and embedded across the trust
PRIORITY 2 : EXTRAORDINARY OUTCOMES
What are we focusing on?
- Closing the attainment gap between disadvantaged pupils and all pupils by end of KS2
- Ensuring disadvantaged pupils are able to access all wider curriculum and personal enrichment opportunities, including residentials
- Supporting our schools to effectively meet the needs of high SEND pupils and break down any barriers to this
- To fully prepare staff for new DfE SEND obligations & standards
PRIORITY 3 : CURRICULUM
What are we focusing on?
- Improving pedagogy (the method and practice of teaching) and assessing the impact of ‘walk thrus’ (method used to observe, evaluate, and improve teaching practices)
- Continuing to align trust systems and expectations, including assessment
- Refining and sharing best practice in assessment across all curriculum subjects in all schools
PRIORITY 4 : ONE TRUST
What are we focusing on?
- Driving financial efficiencies across all aspects of the trust with a clear financial action plan that is regularly shared and updated
- Strengthening stakeholder engagement with particular focus on our parent communities
- Enhancing communication - internally & externally – with a new strategy that builds and promotes the profile and reputation of the trust
PRIORITY 5 : ENVIRONMENT / COMMUNITY
What are we focusing on?
- Driving financial efficiencies across all aspects of the trust with a clear financial action plan that is regularly shared and updated
- Strengthening stakeholder engagement with particular focus on our parent communities
- Enhancing communication - internally & externally – with a new strategy that builds and promotes the profile and reputation of the trust
