Well School Trusts officially launched
On Monday 1st July, the Well School Trusts: Principles in Practice - Building a Strong Trust Through PE, Sport and Play toolkit, with case studies was officially launched. The guide's practical examples and self-reflection tools will support multi-academy trusts (MATs) in exploring how they might embrace the philosophy of a Well School Trust, as we all strive to ‘lead well’ and address the increasing physical, emotional and social challenges faced by children and staff.
As champions of change in education, the Youth Sport Trust (YST) has been working with the Confederation of School Trusts (CST) to produce this useful and hopefully inspiring toolkit, and the Aspire Academy Trust is one of only 10 multi-academy trusts (MATs) nationally featured. This document will now be used by MATs across the country to implement the principles of a strong trust.
A huge thank you to Sian Hall and James Ross at St Breock Primary School, and our fabulous PE & Sport Network for all their hard work in ensuring that our schools are fully supported to deliver on our Well Schools promise.
