SENDCo - Bude Primary Academy - Juniors
Bude Primary Juniors has a vacancy for a permanent 0.6FTE part-time SENDCo. Our proud and caring school is set in a beautiful coastal environment and a welcoming community. Benefiting from the Aspire Academy Trust’s expertise, this role offers an excellent opportunity to be part of a dedicated team focused on professional growth, with a commitment to meeting every need and seizing every opportunity for our children's development. The SENDCo is responsible for overseeing the provision for children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) within the main school at Bude, ensuring they receive the appropriate support and interventions to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. While a National Award for SEN Coordination is desirable, we warmly encourage applicants who are willing to train towards this qualification.
The role also involves working closely with our ARB SENDCo to ensure a coordinated approach is compliant with the SEND Code of Practice and all related policies.
This part-time role (0.6FTE) is central to ensuring that every child with SEND in the main school at Bude Primary Juniors is supported to reach their full potential, while working closely with the ARB SENDCo during key transition periods. Please contact the school for more information on the role.
The interview date will be during the week commencing 21st October 2024
