Aspire welcomes new CEO

RW cropThe Aspire Academy Trust is delighted to announce that Mrs Rachel Warwick has been appointed Chief Executive Officer (CEO), after a rigorous recruitment process which attracted high-calibre candidates from across the country. Rachel succeeds Vanessa Bragg, who retired at the end of August.

Rachel will be working with senior leaders and colleagues across the trust to build on the outstanding leadership and positive outcomes delivered by Vanessa.  She is resolute in her commitment to ensuring that all 6000 children we serve continue to excel academically and flourish in character, and that our 1,000 members of staff also continue to thrive personally and professionally.

Rachel has 28 years’ experience in primary education, holding a number of key roles within Aspire since its inception, including many years as a class teacher, Head of School and most recently 5 years as Deputy CEO.  A DFE ‘National Leader in Education’ for many years, Rachel is passionate about primary education and has been recently appointed a trustee for another large primary multi-academy trust.

Rachel has already made an enormously positive contribution to Aspire Academy Trust and we are excited to see what comes next under her leadership.
