Treverbyn Academy is beyond proud to announce that out of all the school choir entrants across Cornwall, Treverbyn Choir has won the Sing It Home for the Air Ambulance HELi2 fundraising competition!

The choir was surprised in assembly on Tuesday 19th November by DJ Neil Caddy of Hits Radio Cornwall, along with Andy from Cornwall Air Ambulance. They were so surprised and sang their hearts out once again.  It was also a welcome shock for Mrs Pearson, who works so hard to provide wonderful experiences for the children.  There definitely wasn't a dry eye in the house!

The choir has won £750 for the school, a VIP visit to the Cornwall Air Ambulance HQ, the opportunity to record the song at Truro recording studios; to sing it live on Hits Radio and at the official Christmas lights switch on in Truro on Friday 22nd November, as well as the school name printed on the underside of the new air ambulance!
